Getting to Zermatt
By car
Zermatt is car-free. Private vehicles are only allowed to access the town as far as Täsch (5 km from Zermatt). In Täsch there are parking garages (some with 24-hour taxi service) and public parking spaces.
By train

from Bern: 2 hours
from Geneva: 4 hours
